great product and very clear the workings
Lip Balm
$125.00 USD
A Decade of Refinement to create a moment of Pure Impossible.
For 10 years, we stripped away every 'magic' and 'tech' look until all that was left was an ordinary object that does extraordinary things. Born in the high-pressure environment of a 2015 TV production, the SMCL-LB08 has been broken, refined, and battle-tested into a professional-grade utility. It's no longer a 'scrappy' studio prop; it's a hardened tool built for the modern performer.

An instant everyday carry.
— Biz, Germany -
Lip Balm is a very organic yet unique device that suits modern mentalists, applicable to many routines.
— Christian Pestritu, Romania -
Hands down the best PK device I've ever used. Insanely deceptive, fully under your control, and 100% examinable.
— Felix Bodden, Dominican Republic -
Lip Balm by SansMinds is the perfect EDC miracle. It allows powerful telekinesis without suspicion. When the card rotates, it creates a breathtaking moment.
— Jeki Yoo, USA -
Clearly one of the best EDCs of recent years: a simple lip balm enabling insane telekinesis anytime. The charger protects, charges, and activates the gimmick.
— Jordan Victoria, France -
The idea of having a fully gimmicked Lip Balm in my pocket is delicious.

The 3-Phase 'Perpetual' Protocol
The Lip Balm isn't just a one-off effect; it's a structured routine designed to dismantle skepticism.
Phase 1
The Bio-Static Pulse
Start with a demonstration of raw kinetic influence. A borrowed coin is balanced on the cap. With a moment of focused stillness, you trigger a sharp, physical twitch that drops the coin. This is your 'proof' — the initial spark of energy.
Phase 2
The Vacuum Chamber
Kill the 'wind' theory instantly. Seal the lip balm and the object under a borrowed glass tumbler. Even in this isolated environment, the movement persists. The glass acts as a lens, proving the energy is real and undeniable.
Phase 3
The Human Circuit
This is where modern logic fails. You use a borrowed ID, business card, or any nonmagnetic item. When a spectator touches your hand to 'complete the circuit,' you trigger a sustained, hypnotic rotation. The card spins with increasing velocity, defying every logical explanation.
Built for the stage
The Professional Advantages
Most PK props only offer a simple 'drop.' The LB08 evolves from a vertical drop to a sustained horizontal spin. This transition creates a visual narrative that is impossible for the mind to reverse-engineer.
We solved the 'fiddly' problems of the past. The LB08 features optimized battery life, zero-friction internals, and environmental stability. It is designed to perform in the harsh glare of sunlight, the chaos of a loud bar, or right under a skeptic's nose.
Clean hands
100% Examinable
The greatest strength of the Lip Balm is that it bypasses the 'skeptic's filter.' Because it is a fully functional, scented lip balm, it earns a permanent spot in your pocket without suspicion. When the magic ends, you are 100% clean. No palming, no threads, and no 'do not touch' moments. Spectators can open it, smell it, and even use it.
Watch Jason give the Lip Balm to the girl for examination — no switch at all.
MADE IN OUR LAB
Lab Guarantee
We aren't at the mercy of a third-party factory, and neither are you. Every single SMCL-LB08 is built, calibrated, and inspected right here in our own facility. Because we own the process from start to finish, we can stand behind our work like no one else in the industry.
- 1-Year 'No Questions' Warranty: if it stops working, we replace it.
- 100% Quality Control: total control of the item every step of the way, so your tool is stage-ready the moment it arrives.

Took a long time to arrive as I was an early purchase but I am very pleased with the effect. It is a perfect EDC bit of Mentalism in my pocket! Highly Recommended!
I've only watched the instructions once but the product is quality, simple to use, and I can't wait to start practicing it (although I probably could perform it immediately!). Very happy with the purchase.
Fantastic bit of kit. Always ready to go and dependable. Great range too so you can really step away. Totally examinable It is so rare for me to add new material to my wedding sets and this has gone straight in. Love it
Simple to use and it kills every time the fact the spectator can inspect it at any given time is great.
A great piece of kit that works perfectly. Perfect design.
Hey SansMinds team. I am loving the Lip Balm. I bought it to enhance an effect I was already doing and it works perfectly. You have really built a performance piece and I appreciate the detail that went into everything when making this. I thank you and appreciate you for this effect. Please see my enclosed video for a demo. - Gordon Edmund Gordon The Hypnotist
Device works perfectly, very excited to be performing this!!
My concern is that the included "Chapstick" label, when applied, will not allow the unit to fit in the charger. A few microns larger would enable a proper fit. I applied the "chapstick" label per the instructions and the unit would not fit in the charger/switch. It took quite a careful bit of work to remove the applied label. Once carefully removed, the unit worked as hoped for. Performance wise, there's no need to crease a playing card, have an audience member place his/her I.D, or drivers liscence carefully on top of the lip balm, the card rotates quite well without creasing or other help.. To perform sitting, one can place the switch between the thigh and chair and determine the pressure needed prior to setting the lip balm on the table (letting it vibrate in the performers hand). At that point, one can let an audience member place the card or I.D. on the lip balm and operate as needed. The turning card is far superior to placement of coins or a potato chip on the lip balm, plus having both hands free is an additional incentive to the mystery. I really like this item and put it at the very tiptop of my other "electronic" effects. Edgar Hume (age 79). P.S. Thank you for the extra deck of beautiful cards, I appreciate your kindness !
Perfect container for a fun and spontaneous effect!
It arrived today and it was totally worth the wait. It works perfectly, and it really is fully examinable. All magic should be this easy!
I wasn't too happy about the price, seems too expensive for my budget. That being said I'm glad i took the hit. I'm loving the quality and performance of Lipbalm, it's fantastic, and does the job so deviously simple. However the long wait for delivery with the Shop app tracking was a unpleasant, but it arrived. Hoorah!
Truly sensational, easily the best of its kind. 100% recommendation by me Gaz Lawrence 👍👍👍👍👍
Excellent! This is a very nicely designed and easy to use pocket miracle. Only request I would have is to add a time delay feature, but this is more a luxury than necessity. If this piece is what 'sets the bar' I'm very excited to see what else Sans Minds will be bringing out next!
It’s clear this product went through so much r and d. Everything from the design of the gimmick to the holder/remote. This has became an edc and is well worth the money.
Absolutely fabtastic!! Everything about this is brill, and the fact it is INSTANTLY examinable just makes it other level. Love it!!!
My go to trick I use everyday. It’s the most organic prop and the fact people can examine it makes it a real winner. Probably the best trick I’ve purchased in a few years.
Best edc trick on the market. Right up there with loops and TT’s
SMCL-LB08 is the "Balm"! Sorry I'm a Dad. The Lip Balm is such a great EDC that has wicked impact on audiences and is clever design to easily carry a charge on the go. I especially love the rotating card and using a phone to record the magic while they tap the screen.
High quality magic all around. The quality of the lip balm and the functionality are excellent. I have had 100% success with everything working as it should for about a dozen performances so far. Fun to have the 'Chapstick' just sitting on a nearby table and grab it nonchalant with other items, and the fact it can be shown open and used is over the top convincing! The tutorial is excellent. Very clear and high quality.
I had one of the first released and have been using it since. It's the no.1 item I take everywhere with me and the reactions are amazing. This is such an amazing piece of magic and so well built.
The 'feel' of a prop matters to me and this is the real deal.
Best EDC item. The holder/remote is just genius. Very well thought out.
The product is incredibly well-made. The best quality I've seen from SansMinds and no DIY! If you know you know..
I have seen a lot of junk in 20 years of magic. This isn't one of them. The engineering is subtle and the execution is flawless. It’s the first time in a long time I’ve felt like I’m performing a miracle rather than a trick. When the object is this well-made, you don't have to worry about the exposing.
I hate carrying a lot of stuff in my pocket. But I am making exception for this. The build quality alone, it's a steal. It's the most natural looking magic gimmick I own.
This is the definition of Real Magic. Just a lip balm I pulled out of my pocket because my lips were dry. The moment the magic happens, the spectators’ brains just short-circuit. The quality of the gimmick makes the handling effortless. This is staying in my pocket permanently.
10/10 craftsmanship. Super well made.
The battery has ceased functioning. I’ve reached out for product support several times but have heard nothing back. I love the product when it works. Please help me get it back to functioning status.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Absolute scam artists no communication. Does not ship out products. Many people have experienced the same thing. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Send a Unit that works, speed up the communication, find a solution for paying customers quickly, after 16 days after receiving the non working unit still no constructive solution. Pitty.
